I recently attended a photo workshop /tour run by Mike Guilbault. Mike is a renowned photographer and incredibly experienced. I learned a great deal from this tour. He really helped to understand the histogram and its importance in shooting quality photographs.
Basically a histogram explains the light and dark areas of a photograph and helps you, as a photographer to ensure that your exposure is correct. This ensures you get a high quality photograph.
So with my new found knowledge and awareness of the histogram. I shot the following images. My focus was on bringing out the vivid colours of fall. The day was fantastic. The sky was overcast which makes the colours really stand out. It was a alot of fun and I can't wait to get these images printed and hanging on the wall.
